Jingle is back!!!

Since we were traveling, Jingle was able to spend some time with Noel (our cousins' elf). They had to be creative...and remember to not get left behind. Cade is well aware that Jingle has a minor burn from a mishap a few years ago, so there is no fooling anyone with a new one. Jingle has brought "elf poo" M&M's, hitched a ride back to Nana's from Horseshoe Bay in the car, wrote her name in sticky notes on a wall, played tic-tac-toe with marshmallows, and slept in the fridge because she missed the cold. She is ready to bring some giggles each morning!

Thanksgiving in Horseshoe Bay

We had THE BEST week with the Parks side of the family in Horseshoe Bay on Lake LBJ near Marble Falls, TX. Nana rented a house on the water that was huge and slept our large clan.  The kids loved the pull out couch bed and the deer roaming everywhere.  We took TONS of groceries and deal the meal planning ahead of time, so there were no real plans each day. There was lots of laughing, football, kayaking, fishing, card games, online shopping, family pictures, exploring, walks, the trail of lights in Marble Falls followed by pie at the infamous Bluebonnet Cafe, family movie night (The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix) and more. The memories I laugh at the most include: Cade almost giving Jaxson a concussion with a pool ball on accident, all 4 kids playing minecraft together on separate computers (they were quiet!), the amount of sweets eaten under that roof, Savannah and Bear playing, Uncle Chris and a fur vest, Cade/Jax being rescued from a kayak, playing LRC dice game as a family, and 19 crimes wine.  So many great memories to cherish and be thankful for!
