Happy Halloween!

Halloween 2018 as Ron Weasley and a blow-up unicorn is in the books! Yes, we braved the rain and came home soaked...but the memories were worth it. Thank you to the most handsome getaway driver, Daddy, when the rains got heavy.

Pumpkin Carving & Nana brings home Tye!

We squeezed in some carving time tonight! Cade designed the "C eyes" and Caelin designed "a traditional mouth". Cade still dislikes the gooey guts on the inside and Caelin still loves them (and to torture Cade by waving them in his face). Shout out to Daddy for cutting it with 2 kids telling him EXACTLY how to do it. Haha!  After pumpkin carving, we went to pick up Nana as she was bringing Tye home from Lubbock today.  We had been keeping Buddy for her while she went to Lubbock with Nonnie and Poppie to bury Aunt Bubs' ashes.  Aunt Bubs had a sweet yorkie named Tye that is 8 years old. When Tye arrived, we introduced Tye and Buddy in the backyard and they become friends in no time.  Neither are too social yet...but they both enjoyed being around Nana and were checking each other out.  I have no doubt that they will become good friends in no time!  Welcome to the family Tye!

One final goodbye

Today family buried Aunt Bubs' ashes in McAdoo, TX.  What a beautiful day of sunshine it was.  You will always be in our hearts.  Take care of everyone in Heaven and I know we shall meet again one day at those golden gates.

Boots for Troops

Such a great night for a great cause! Thanks to the Josh Abbott Band, Jason Cassidy, and Jake Worthington for a great evening for Boots for Troops.  It was even more special to have Nana and the Mallia family join us (Chris, April, Campbell, and Conner).  I love how we enjoyed the evening in the country with great music and family dancing.

More soccer with Nana!
