One BUSY Day for everyone!

Today started bright and early for everyone as the boys went Pheasant hunting in Waller, TX with True North Outfitters while the girls enjoyed Caelin's first soccer game with Team Brazil.  Caelin was a bit sad as the grounds were wet outside, so her game was moved inside.  She was looking forward to playing on the fields outside, but did well with her new team.  Her new Coach Mike is great with the team and she is already learning so many new ball handling skills and positions on field.  I was so proud of her for jumping out there with a new team.  She can sometimes get shy on the field and not talk to her team, but she is coming out of her shell for sure!  After her game, we enjoyed lunch with Gamee/Grampee at Ciscos.  It is hard living farther away from them, but we are so blessed for every chance we get to spend time with them!  After lunch, we went to pick up Caelin's sweet friend Kendra for a sleepover.  Caelin was so excited to have a sleepover and I heard the girls giggling all night!  Daddy and Cade had a blast at the Pheasant hunt as well.  Cade looks forward to this every year and we are grateful to the church for organizing these events.  They brought home a ton of pretty pheasant and we enjoyed a great meal with bacon/jalepeno wrapped pheasant.  YUM!  Cade's fun day didn't end there as he was able to go to a U of H baseball game with his friend Connor and family.  We have been so blessed to get to know this family and become life friends.  Cade was even able to announce the "Play Ball" for the start of the game!  It was such a great day filled with adventures for everyone!

The Survivor tradition continues!

We love to draw names for the TV show Survivor as a family.  The person who has the winner at the end of the season gets to pick where we go to dinner or pick something fun for us to do as a family.  Can you tell that our family loves competitions, haha!

Caelin & Adalia, Cade's date night

We are so sad to see Adalia move to South Carolina but very excited about the new adventures awaiting her family.  The girls had sleepovers throughout the weekend in order to spend as much time together as possible.  Through the tears, I remind Caelin that Lizzy and I were also separated and are still friends to this day.  Besides, we haven't been to South Carolina yet and that sounds like a great trip!  While Caelin was with Adalia, Daddy and I treated Cade to a date night and dinner at a fancy restaurant.  Cade loved watching the kitchen area and the food being prepped on the line.  He ordered the rack of lamb and all the food was delicious.  Of course, we also had to spoil him and get a new comic book at the store.  I have loved watching Cade grow into such a handsome gentleman.  He is kind and thoughtful to others.  Thank you, Jesus, for great friends and quality time!

Double Sleepover Fun

We enjoyed having Adalia and Jonah over to spend the night.  The kids played at the park, went geocaching, watched a movie with popcorn/pizza, and church.  We love having friends over to spoil!
