A weekend to Hondo!

Our kids were once again blessed to spend time with Gamee and Grampee.  During this visit they got to go to Hondo, TX to visit Aunt Lala (Laura) and Uncle Larry.  While they were only there for a day and a half they did so much. They began their fun with a visit to the South Texas Corn Maize. At the Corn Maize they saw 2 white tigers, jumped on Corn Poppers, climbed on hay bales, slid down some big slides and ate kettle corn.  Of course no trip to Hondo is complete without visiting Larry and Laura's home.  Both of the kids got to not only feed the chickens there, but also to help collect the eggs. At night Uncle Larry was kind enough to light a fire so that the kids could roast marshmallows for smores and sing campfire songs. When it was time for bed the kids slept in sleeping bags like they were camping out, before waking up to go for a hike and play with the dogs.  Cade found several "treasures" on the hike and Aunt Laura found an amazing arrowhead.  Without a doubt the kids had an wonderful time and loved spending time with Gamee, Grampee, Aunt Laura, and Uncle Larry.  They are already asking to go back!
