Our dear Aunt Bubs

Our sweet Aunt, affectionately known as Aunt Bubbles or Aunt Bubs for short, took her last breath and crossed into the gates of Heaven at 5:18 a.m. She was surrounded by family in Lubbock, TX. Nana described her last days with her baby sister as rough, as her cancer has spread rapidly to her brain and bones.  She was always a fighter in every situation in life and had a spirit that didn't take much from others.  Even though we grieve that she is no longer with us, I know she is joking with Daddy in Heaven and likely entertaining others.  She was a firm believer in God and always helping others.  In her spare time, she was known to vounteer at nursing homes or spend time in Spur, TX enjoying a slower paced society.  She had the voice of an angel when she sang, which was mostly country music or hymns.  My fondest memories are watching her and Grandma Watts (Gangaw or "Roe" to others) play instruments together and sing.  She is one that will never be forgotten and has left memories in the hearts of all who knew her.
