Easter in Round Rock

Easter was much different this year without Daddy/Papa there, but we could still feel him all around us.  There were times I had to catch myself from breaking down, but I need to remember he will always be watching all the craziness and now he doesn't have to turn off his hearing aides from the noise!  Ha!  We started the weekend craziness (I mean fun) with bluebonnet pictures.  The boys went to football practice for an upcoming game they have and Mendy and I attempted to tackle 4 kids in bluebonnets on Saturday.  Well, the best is below, no judging.  We then moved on throughout the weekend to dying of eggs, painting bird houses, movie nights, Starbucks, etc.  Nana laughed at the craziness, but joined in!  On Easter Sunday, we had a house full of family and friends: our 9, Nana/Papa Blevins, Chase/Mary, Cousin Danny, Cousin Holly and her 2 friends, and neighbors Frank/Kathy.  We laughed as the kids hunted eggs in the back yard and enjoyed a Brisket lunch.  It was such a great time to all be together and celebrate LIFE.  Thank you to God for all the memories, fun, and what you did for us through Jesus.  He is risen indeed!  Happy Easter!
