Caelin's 4th Birthday

Every year I say this, but WHERE did the time go?  4 years ago today Caelin came into this world with her spunk and zest for life.  I cannot even fathom where our lives would be without her.  She is truly an Angel who brings life to every situation and a smile to our face.  We can always count on her to strike a pose, shake her hiney, or say something sassy.  For her birthday we celebrated with donut breakfast and then a Disney "Frozen" theme.  Gamee again amazed us with her cake skills.  This was her best cake yet with an Elsa doll, ice looking decor and LIGHTS in the dress.  Caelin still talks about her cake!  For party games Gamee made an Olaf to throw snowballs at, we had build your own snowman with marshmallows, and a Pinata.  The hit of the party was the snowball fight though!  Who can say they had a snowball fight at their party in July?!  Caelin had so many family and friends come to love on her and received gifts including: LOTS of Frozen dolls, barbies, Olaf stuff animals, Frozen Puzzles, Princess dress up clothes/shoes/tiara, board games, Lego duplos, Swim accessories, Soccer ball and pop up goal, Easy Bake Oven and mixes, Frozen Play-doh set, books, and more.  Nana came into town and then we were surprised JUST before the party started to see Aunt Mendy, Jaxson, and Mackenzie!  We were all so surprised and of course I cried.  Special events like this are always a little harder without Papa here, but seeing my sister and family sure helped make me smile.  We even got to go out to eat after the party before they had to head home.  She was truly spoiled and when going to bed that night told me her day was "totally magical"!  What more could a parent ask for?

To our Dearest Caelin,
Time stands still as I write this and think about your journey in the last 4 years.  You are such a light in our family and we would not be complete without you in it.  Your Dad and I adore everything about you.  Your smile melts our hearts and we are your biggest fan.  Papa always told you you were a beautiful girl, and he is so right!  Your gorgeous blue eyes and blond curls have us all all in awe.  You seem to skip and bounce more than just walk, which tells a lot about your personality as well.  I love your free spirit and fun loving ways.  You are definitely a Daddy's girl as much as I hate to admit it!  You have your Daddy wrapped around your finger and the two of you love to go grocery shopping and run errands together.  I listed some of your favorite things below.  Years later when you read this, I hope you know how much we love you.  I sit here at this computer in our office with tears for how proud we are already of you.  I can only imagine the wonderful things you will do in your life.  Just remember above all else to love our God first and never drift far from him.  We love you all the way around the world and back again!

- 37lbs, 9 oz (69%)

- Right ear still showed significant wax build up on ear drum.  Doc suggested we try 7 days of drops to try and loosen it up, or follow-up with Pediatric ENT to get it cleaned out.  Double booo.
