Caelin turns 8 years old!

8 years ago God gave us the most precious gift in Caelin. She is everything we prayed for and so much more. She has a servant's heart, shows endless compassion for others, and makes us smile EVERY day.  I cannot imagine our life without her.  This past year has been a year of growth for her.  A new school, new friends, learning to ride a bike, 2 soccer teams, and a whole lot of inches in height.  I would say her best friend is Cade as she loves him so much and wants to be with him 90% of the time.  They have the normal brother and sister moments, but they can be found together most of the time.  She is always asking questions and wanting to learn.  She is known to ask for coffee and donuts in the mornings.  During family movie nights, she still likes to snuggle.  She is not only beautiful but smart as well...with perfect report cards and top reading levels.  She now wears a size 6/7 in clothes and love to shop at Target and Justice. To celebrate her special day, we woke up to donuts that Daddy surprised us with.  She was so excited to get her backpack with matching lunchbox and water bottle as gifts!  Nana also sent a card that had some money for her to shop with, so Caelin was very excited!  The Blevins family sent the perfect gift of a butterfly growing kit that arrived just before we left for lunch.  We headed out to the Regal theatre to see the new Spiderman movie (Far from home) with Gamee and cousin Kinlyn.  After the movie, we shopped a bit and then headed home to get ready for dinner with the Hall family at Caelin's pick, The Blue Iguana Taco House (of course she wanted cheese quesadillas on her birthday, ha).  Andrew and Jacob were so sweet as they celebrated Caelin.  Everyone enjoyed the sopapillas and ice cream.  Caelin was so excited to get her FIFA PS4 game from Gamee/Grampee and some Justice outfits from Aunt Heather/Uncle Chris/Andrew/Jacob.  God has truly blessed us with a PERFECT little princess and we are honored to celebrate her.  Memories from over the past 8 years are flooding my mind at the moment, and I am overcome with joy for the blessings of Caelin.  There was a time when we did not think we could even have kids, more or less 2 that are healthy and beautiful.  Thank you God for every last moment these past 8 years.  I consider it a privilege to have the title of Mom to a beautiful soul inside and out.  Happy 8th birthday Caelin Roe!
