A CHRISTmas to remember

This will be a LONG one...LOL!  There is no way to pick favorite pictures when we spend a week together as a family!  I am truly grateful for this crazy family, even if it feels like a never ending circus act at times.  This past week we embraced all the noise, card games (new Monopoly Deal card game was a hit!), Jingle antics, good food, and laughter.  We had so much fun visiting the Jingle House again and going on an Elf Hunt, playing Bingo, and making smores.  Mackenzie and Caelin found all 60 elves and drove the boys crazy since they only found 59.  Nana and Jax both won at Bingo, so we felt pretty lucky!  We also stayed busy decorating cookies, making ornaments by painting with marbles, painting canvas art, driving around to look at Christmas lights, hunting for candy canes by flashlight in Nana's yard, cooking a shrimp boil for Christmas dinner, and 4 days of cousin sleepovers!  My personal favorite was the candlelight service at the Blevins' church.  I loved how their church told the story of Jesus' birth from various perspectives. We will always miss Daddy as the years go on, but we saw him all week long in the little things. We saw him in the ladybugs that somehow made their way inside Nana's AND Mendy's houses at odd times, the blooming flowers outside, and the squirrels that insist on starring us down through the kitchen window. We laughed at old stories and smiled at the Christmas decorations that brought back childhood memories and love. The entire week was nothing short of magical and memories we made by all.
