Today were blessed to celebrate the life of Frank Sammons. Frank and Kathy moved next door to Nana/Papa in 1991 when I was just 10 years old. Through the years, our families have watched each other grow, laugh, grieve losses and became family with each other along the way. A few years ago, Frank and Kathy moved to Magnolia, TX and wound up building a house just 10 minutes from us! In the last few years, Frank's health had been declining. As his health declined, our family was blessed to spend time with Frank and Mama K. Sometimes it was assisting around the house, but most often simply visiting with him. He was a man who loved his wife, nature shows (especially Shark Week), the Jets, and sharing stories. The memorial today was a wonderful event at their home in Magnolia and was attended by people both near and far. Nana and the Blevins family drove in from Round Rock to help celebrate Frank’s life. Mama K did an amazing job organizing everything and shared some very loving words and memories about Frank. Charles was blessed to be able to share a little bit about Frank as well and give the blessing over the food. He will be forever missed, but we know we will see him again. We smile every time Cade wears a pair of his boots or shoes that he was given. Thank you Frank for all the hugs, chuckles and memories. We love you!
