Galveston Mission Trip

We made it back to Tomball just in time to pick up Cade/Caelin as they returned from their Mission Trip to Galveston.  CFBC took 62 middle school aged kids (grades 6-8) and several families to support all the transportation, organizing, and meals. This was Caelin’s first mission trip and we were happy to still see her smiling when they got off the buses.  Cade’s group worked to lay flooring in part of a church, did a prayer walk in a nearby community, and then served at the Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM). Caelin’s group did yard work for the Coastal Community Church, did a prayer walk in a nearby community, and then served at the Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM).  Cade was quick to say that his favorite part was working at the GUM and Caelin enjoyed the Prayer Walk and looking for people to share with.  They were spoiled each night with houses on the beach, smores, and meals with friends.  I am not sure either of the 2 houses will ever be the same again after approximately 30 kids in each, lol.  It makes our parent hearts happy to see both our kids with a desire to serve and help others.
