What a night of celebrations for Klein ISD! I was honored to attend and celebrate several people in our department with high achieving awards. Overall, our behavior support department recognized several employees of the year for their respective campuses, service year awards of countless friends, and retirements. The best part of the evening was watching 2 of the 6 Superintendent Awards go to some very special people for the work they do daily. One was awarded to Mr. Jacobs for being the very first Teen Leadership teacher in Klein ISD and starting a program designed to support students that have needed behavioral intervention in the past. The other award went to my very own Megan Danielle and Mr. Davis for their innovation in starting the KHS Intramurals program. The success of students in this program is unbelievable and I am honored to know and support them. What a celebration!
