Caelin and Hayden were so excited for their 1st year at Creek Camp this year. This side of camp offers more activities and freedom for 6th and 7th graders. The theme this year was "Our Identity in God" and being a light to the world around us. Unfortunately, Hurricane Beryl decided to make an appearance the 2nd day they were there. The campus ultimately lost power due to the hurricane and had some water problems which brought sanitary concerns to the campers. As parents, we were sad for all the campers to hear they had to return 2 days early. Even though Beryl interrupted our plans, God showed up as always and Caelin reported that it was still her favorite year ever at Camp. Caelin said her favorite parts of camp were meeting new friends, her camp Couselors (Lydia and Abrianna), and the teamwork building drills. I know both girls are already looking forward to next year.
