Happy 4th of July!

First of all, thanks to every service man/woman for your service to God and Country!  I never take for granted a day I have with my family.  The USA truly is the greatest nation in the world and this day always brings us closer together as a country.  We are able to leave in a free country because of the dedication of service men/women.  So, thanks to you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

To celebrate today, we spent the day with family...just how this day should be spent!  We went to Gamee/Grampee's for a hot dog lunch, swimming, playing, and cards.  The best part was Uncle Christopher and Aunt Heather came too!  So, we got to spend the day all together.  Just wish Uncle Corey was here.  After naps, we ventured to the Woodlands for the fireworks show.  Along the way we picked up Arby's for a picnic dinner.  Gamee had scoped out a perfect spot by the water and everything else was perfect.  Cade enjoyed doing sparklers and running around while Caelin enjoyed just relaxing in Daddy's lap.  The fireworks show was the best I have ever seen!  I am usually not a hug fireworks fan, but I was so impressed this year.  After the show, we headed back to our cars where we had a little wait for about 45min-1hr in the mall parking lot before traffic could clear.  So, we all got creative and entertained Cade with glow sticks, snacks, and some more fireworks.  What a great day we had with family.  Next year Uncle Christopher and Aunt Heather will have another little baby to add to the fun!
