Saying Goodbye to 2014

One of Charles' favorite things is football. To be more specific Baylor football as we all know.  For that reason we are going to Dallas to watch the Baylor Bears play in the 79th Annual Cotton Bowl in Dallas on New Year's Day.  I was nervous about being away from the kids on NYE, but I was blessed that as a result we had the opportunity to spend the night with Lizzy and David.  Thus, around Noon on New Year's Eve we headed toward Dallas for the big events.  It was a fun night that began with the Fan Fest at the Irving Convention Center.  From there we drove to Red Dog Right for drinks, appetizers, and football on the T.V. This would have been plenty excitement for most nights, but since this was New Year's Eve we then drove to Lizzy's and had some amazing hamburgers, grilled asparagus, and David's famous mac & cheese.  I could not think of a better place or people to ring in the new year with.  We celebrated with a champagne toast at midnight and then all went to bed.  We are officially old!

I can't believe it is actually time to write the recap of 2014, but here I go.  I am never gonna get used to how fast time passes... a true testament to living each day to the fullest.  I cannot wait to see all the blessings of 2015 and surprises in store.  I have no doubt God will continue to bless my friends and family abundantly.  Thank you to our Lord and Savior for these blessing and highlights below!
