Easter Sunday

This was a special Easter Sunday as Nana was in town and we spent the day with both Gamee/Grampee and Nana!  Easter is such a great time to remind us about what Jesus did for us on that cross.  It is so much more than being a "good citizen" and "doing what is right".  I do believe there is no better way to appreciate the life we are given than to spend time with family.  This was not my first Easter without Daddy, but seeing a table filled with family and he not be sitting at it will always be painful.  Regardless, this is not about the losses we have in life, this is about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  I pray that amidst the celebration, gifts, Easter Bunny, church, etc...my kids come to know what life is all about.  It is actually more simple than one would think.  KNOW Jesus and honor him in all you do.  If nothing else, your relationship with him will never steer you wrong.  THANK YOU Jesus for dying on that horrible cross...for taking on our sin...for loving us no matter what...and more importantly, for rising again and living forever.  We love and cherish you.  He has risen indeed!
