Today was great weather for an IEA show in Bayview. The show itself was not well organized and unfortunately, we were running against the 12 hour clock before the show had to be called. Thankfully, at the 9 hour mark, another Show Steward took over and it started to move quicker in hopes that everyone would get their chance to compete. Caelin’s was the last class and you could tell the poor horses were tired of being worked for the day. Caelin was finally able to enter the arena and took 5th place out of 14 riders. She of course was hoping to place better, but it was a tough competition day. These are the moments that hurt the Mommy heart, but grow our kids as they learn the ups and downs with any sport. Caelin is looking forward to next weekend and competing in her final show.
