Saturday in Tomball

We had an Adventurous Sat as always.  We left the house early to get out to Matt Family Orchard to pick some Blueberries/Blackberries.  The picking was a bit sad as the blueberries were pretty much picked through and the blackberries looked like we were about 2 weeks early!  Good news is we were still able to find about 5-10 of each and ate them all!  Caelin was so funny and did not care too much for either berry.  We gave her the darkest colored knowing they would be the sweetest, and she still gagged.  We couldn't help but laugh.  Bad news, no homemade blueberry ice cream to show for our morning labor.  After the orchard, we detoured by the house to get some lunch and naps before heading out to downtown Tomball for the Crawfish festival.  The festival was great because the afternoon crowd was not that busy.  It was all sponsored by HEB, so there was TONS of things for the kids (games, water play, bounce house, etc), tents for people eating crawfish, live music, dancing, and booths for those shoppers!  We were able to ride the ponies, get milkshakes at Nonnie's, and enjoy walking around together.  It was a busy day, and we are glad that our house is quiet with early bedtimes.
