Spring Break Fun in Round Rock

We spent the last 5 days visiting Nana and Papa in Round Rock.  During the week we were spoiled with staying up late, ice cream, picnics, popcorn/movies, play gyms, family dinners with all 10 of us, Starbucks (us adults!), and a big outing to the  Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch!  The cousins got lots of bonding time and I love watching Mackenzie (AKA: Kennybug) and  Cade grow up together.  They both teach each other so much and are growing up WAY too fast!  Caelin enjoyed the baths with Kennybug and washing her hair.  Although, I am pretty sure that poor Kennybug might have gotten poked in the eye more than once!  Cade's favorite part was the "Safari Hunt".  Cade and Caelin both hung out the windows throwing food and yelling for the animals.  It is safe to say Caelin in no longer afraid of animals!  She walked right up, fed the animals and would pet them too.  Cade focused his attention on making sure all the animals ate from his hand and were petted.  We had to rule out the ostrich as Cade was trying to pet him as well.  My son has no fear!  Daddy's favorite part was not having to answer emails, do laundry, wake up at a certain time or have a million things to do.  My favorite part was a special brunch with my Mom one afternoon.  We enjoyed Mimosas and a fabulous brunch at Mimi's Cafe.  I love having just "mom" time, it is very rare when you are a Mom yourself.  We just relaxed and took each day as it came.  What a relaxing week so far!
