This year the Christmas ADVENTure was a bit different, but still a great family time as always. We had a beautiful family service first with the tithes being in the form of baby diapers/wipes. We were blessed that Caelin's friend Hayden could join us and all the kids had a blast. After the service, we were divided into groups where we went to a craft project, mission project, cookies, and a live nativity. The mission project was to decorate a grocery bag and then fill it with food for the church pantry for families in need. Thus, after lunch, we headed to HEB and the kids picked out what they wanted. I smiled knowing THIS is the reason for Christmas. We celebrate what Jesus has done for us and in turn work to serve others in all we do. The kids had such joyful hearts and we all felt better after being able to be a blessing to others. Thank you CFBC for always organizing ways for us to be a light and serve others!
