Today Bear went for his check up at the Dermatologist. We have been SO HAPPY that he has been stable with his diagnosis of Uveodermatological Syndrome (UDS). I am hopeful that we have finally found the right combination of medication and eye drops. He takes Temaril-P and Atopica 3 times weekly and then 5 different drops 3 times daily. It may sound like a lot to others, but if you know Bear...he is worth it! Bear is the perfect snuggler and constantly amazes us with how adaptive he is to his surroundings. He may be blind, but I truly feel he has a strong quality of life which is evident by his tail wagging and smiles. We love you Bear Bear and pray that you continue to be stable as you fight this crummy autoimmune disease.
